3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (3 RAR) Vietnam 1967 – 1971. The Third Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3 RAR) first served in Vietnam in 1967 and later had a second tour of duty in 1971.

The Australian Army is the principal land warfare force of Australia, a part of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) along with the Royal Australian Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force. 3 RAR served two tours in South Vietnam, the first from December 1967 with the battalion stationed in Phuoc Tuy province as part of the 1st Australian Task Force.
