Australian Military Forces (QC)

The ‘Australian Military Forces’ fifth pattern of the Rising Sun badge was a variation of the official Insignia of the Australian Army, worn on the brim of a slouch hat or the front of a peaked cap between 1966 and 1972*. Australian Defence Force.

We are excited to showcase a beautifully framed collection featuring the Rising Sun Badge – ‘Australian Military Forces’ (QC). The Australian Army is Australia’s principal land warfare force, a part of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) with the Royal Australian Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force. The Australian Military Forces (QC) substituted the Imperial State Crown with the St Edward’s Crown, which is the crown used by Queen Elizabeth II.
