Framed for display is the hat badge of the 10th Light Horse Regiment, Australian Army. The Regiment is a reserve unit attached to the 13th Brigade. The 10th Light Horse Regiment (10LHR) is part of the Australian Army reserve regiment currently part of the 13th Brigade that forms part of the Australian Defence Force. Previously raised in Western Australia and in October 2021, the 10th Light Horse was re-raised from a single squadron to full regimental status. This involved forming a new Regimental headquarters to command the existing ‘A’ Squadron and re-raising of ‘B’ Squadron. Personnel from the Squadron have previously deployed to the Solomon Islands as part of RAMSI, Timor Leste, and Afghanistan, where they have implanted with Regular Army units.
