106th Tank Attack Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery

The Australian Army is Australia’s principal land warfare force, a part of the Australian Defence Force (ADF). The Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery, normally referred to as the Royal Australian Artillery (RAA), is a Regiment of the Australian Army descended from the original colonial artillery units before the Australian Federation.

During the Second World War, the RAA raised more than 70 regiments of field, medium, anti-tank, anti-aircraft and survey artillery, the 106 Tank Attack Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery (RAA) was formed in mid-1941 as part of the Second Australian Imperial Force during World War II as part of the 3rd Division.
