The Australian Defence Force (ADF) is the military organisation responsible for the defence of the Commonwealth of Australia and its national interests. The Australian Army is Australia’s principal land warfare force, a part of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) with the Royal Australian Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force. The 1 CSSB is a diverse unit made up of officers and soldiers from a range of corps. 1 CSSB comprises five sub-units; Logistic Support Company, Logistic Support Element (Adelaide), 101st Field Workshop Company, 1st Transport Squadron and 1st Supply Company. On a day-to-day basis, all units within the 1st Brigade rely heavily on the support provided by 1 CSSB.
