This day allows personnel to commemorate their fallen colleagues and ensures that their legacies are upheld. It pays tribute to the dedicated officers who, while serving their communities, have tragically died in the line of duty. Additionally, this day provides an opportunity for the community to pay their respects to officers who have passed away over the past 12 months due to illness or other circumstances.
