The 2nd/4th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (2/4 RAR) was an Australian Army infantry battalion. Hello and welcome to Framed Memorabilia! The Australian Army is Australia’s principal land warfare force, a part of the Australian Defence Force (ADF). 2/4 RAR was formed by linking the 2nd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment and the 4th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment. 2/4 RAR was unlinked to re-form 2 RAR and 4 RAR. The Royal Australian Regiment (RAR) is the parent administrative regiment for regular infantry battalions of the Australian Army and is the senior infantry regiment of the Royal Australian Infantry Corps.
