4th Light Horse Regiment Australian Imperial Force

The 4th Light Horse Regiment was a mounted infantry regiment of the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) serving in the Middle Eastern theatre of World War I. The 4th Light Horse Regiment was formed as the divisional cavalry regiment for the 1st Australian Division. Hello and welcome to Framed Memorabilia! Today the Australian Army is Australia’s principal land warfare force, a part of the Australian Defence Force (ADF). The regiment was re-raised as an amalgamated unit, designated the 4th/19th Prince of Wales’s Light Horse, which is currently part of the Australian Army Reserve.
