Framed Memorabilia & Militaria presents “framed for display” the current hat badge of the 9th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (9 RAR). The Australian Army is Australia’s principal land warfare force, a part of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) with the Royal Australian Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force. 9 RAR was a Regular light infantry battalion of the Australian Army between (1967–73). The battalion was raised in November 1967 and deployed to South Vietnam as part of Australia’s commitment to the Vietnam War in November 1968. The Battalion was Based at Enoggera Barracks (also known as Gallipoli Barracks) in the northwestern Brisbane suburb of Enoggera in Queensland.
