The ACT Emergency Medal is an award given to individuals who have provided significant service in response to a declared emergency event in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).

The ACT Emergency Medal was commissioned in March 2004 to recognise the efforts of those who worked tirelessly to preserve the community following the devastating bush fires of January 2003.

Framed Memorabilia honours the personnel who serve/served.

The ACT Emergency Medal is bronze and features on the obverse a stylised image consisting of the royal bluebell the ACT’s official floral emblem, surrounded by wind and flame. On the reverse is the text ‘COURAGE LEADERSHIP TEAMWORK PROFESSIONALISM INNOVATION INTEGRITY’. The medal ribbon consists of three equal stripes of flame red, yellow, flame red, with the central yellow stripe bisected with a thin blue stripe.
