We are excited to showcase a beautifully framed memorabilia collection featuring the 1/6th scale model of the Indian Four Model 440 made by the Indian Motorcycle Company. The Indian Four was a motorcycle built by the Indian Motorcycle Company from 1928 to 1942. The Indian Four Model 440 – The Indian four-cylinder called the 440 adopted skirted fenders that added a more streamlined look. They also added about 36 pounds to an already imposing mass that totalled 568 pounds.
America’s First Motorcycle Company. In 1901, two fearless, trailblazing innovators — George M. Hendee and Oscar Hedstrom — founded America’s first motorcycle company: Indian Motorcycle. They started by taking a risk and going all-in on something entirely new and unheard of to most Americans — the motorcycle.
