The Pilbara Regiment

Framed for Display is the regimental badge of the Pilbara Regiment, part of the Australian Army reserve. The Australian Army serves as the primary land warfare force within the Australian Defence Force (ADF), alongside the Royal Australian Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force.

The Pilbara Regiment is an infantry unit that operates within the Australian Army and is one of three Regional Force Surveillance Units responsible for surveillance and reconnaissance in the remote areas of northern Australia. Most elements of the regiment are based in the Pilbara region of northwestern Australia, with the Regimental Headquarters located in the town of Karratha. The remaining units of the regiment are distributed throughout the Pilbara region.
