This framed uncirculated $1 coin celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Australian Navy, 1911 – 2011. Obverse – 4th portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. Reverse – Official Navy badge incorporating St Edwards (Queens) Crown and the inscription ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVY 100 YEARS 1911 – 2011. This special coin was made by the Perth Mint, Western Australia. The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) is the naval force of the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
