Sydney University Regiment, Australian Army

The Sydney University Regiment (SUR) is an officer-training Regiment of the Australian Army Reserve. It was founded in 1900 as the University Volunteer Rifle Corps and has undergone several changes of name and role since then. It is currently responsible for training Army Reserve officers in Sydney, Canberra and Wollongong.
