Framed for Display is the Tartan of Clan Young of Scotland, displaying our famous Scottish Stag Head.
We are excited to showcase a beautifully framed collection featuring the Scottish Kilt tartan, motto and heraldic crest of Clan Young. A Scottish clan (from Scottish Gaelic clann, literally ‘children’, more broadly ‘kindred’) is a kinship group among the Scottish people of Scotland. Furthermore, Clans give members a sense of shared heritage and descent. In modern times, there is an official structure recognised by the Court of the Lord Lyon, which regulates Scottish heraldry and coats of arms.
Each clan boasts its unique tartan patterns and heraldic crest badges, with many designs originating in the 19th century. Members proudly wear these tartans and incorporate them into kilts and other attire, honouring their lineage and celebrating the vibrant culture of Scotland.
