Members of 152 Signal Squadron are affectionately known as ‘Chooks’ and are often fully integrated into the 5 man  SASR patrols.

The Australian Army is Australia’s principal land warfare force, a part of the Australian Defence Force (ADF). The Royal Australian Corps of Signals is one of the ‘arms’ of the Australian Army. Responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating all telecommunications equipment and information systems. 152nd Signal Squadron (152 Sig Sqn) currently supports the Special Operations Command, Special Air Service Regiment, Australian Army.
