Framed Militaria presents “framed for display” the hat badge of the 2 Transport Platoon, 5th Company Royal Australian Army Service Corps (RAASC) was a platoon within the Australian Army. 2 Transport Platoon (2 Tpt Pl) served in South Vietnam from 1967 until 1970 based in Vung Tau. The Royal Australian Army Service Corps (RAASC) was a corps within the Australian Army. The corps served in World War I, World War II, as part of the British Commonwealth Occupation Force in Japan, the Korean War, the Malayan Emergency and the South Vietnam War. The RAASC was disbanded in 1973.
